This milestone serves as a testament to the journal's contribution to the field of Infodemiology, as well as the dedication of the editorial board overseeing the journal.
This also means that JMIR Infodemiology may receive its inaugural journal impact factor as early as July 2024, which is a major achievement for a new journal that started publishing in 2021. Papers like A Public Health Research Agenda for Managing Infodemics: Methods and Results of the First WHO Infodemiology Conference are already citation classics in the field.
